1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account and using THE DOG, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use THE DOG. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your profile.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards is prohibited.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated workout data to inflate your XPaws score.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate scores, streaks, or leaderboards.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through sniff, chat, or challenge features.
  • Share another user's private data without consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the app's infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

5. XPAWS & SCORING INTEGRITY

XPaws scores, breed tiers, and leaderboard rankings are determined by the app's scoring engine. We reserve the right to audit, adjust, or reset scores found to be the result of fraudulent or manipulated data. Leaderboard rankings and historical snapshots are maintained for community integrity.

6. USER CONTENT

You retain ownership of the workout data and content you submit. By posting content (profile photos, workout notes, challenge proofs), you grant THE DOG a license to display it within the app for the purpose of providing social and competitive features. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights.

7. DISCLAIMERS

THE DOG is a fitness tracking and social competition platform. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Coaching insights are AI-generated suggestions and should not replace professional guidance.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, THE DOG and Base44 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to injury from physical exercise, loss of data, or leaderboard disputes.

9. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all your data. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, manipulate scores, or engage in abusive behaviour toward other users.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
